Late in 2015, the Michael Cameron Dempsey Fund made a donation to support Life Outreach International’s 24/7 Child Rescue Center in Southeast Asia. Its website can be found at http://lifetoday.org/about-life/
The CRC will be one of two safe havens in Southeast Asia for victims from the sex trade to recover. Michael traveled with a very close friend to Southeast Asia. At a birthday party for a family member held in Michigan during the summer of 2013, he shared his experiences about modern Vietnam during that trip with a family member who is a Vietnam veteran; another family member listened in as they were talking. Michael’s “descriptions were interesting and insightful and he seemed wise beyond his years,” she said.
Michael had a generous heart as big as all Asia, and his family believes his heart would have gone out to these young women and girls.
